Some spoilers for the fic: What really had me sold was the really unconventional way of writing canon-verse Ereri. Levi is so unbelievably human here and Eren voice is fantastic. Sure, it’s Ereri, but instead of Levi and Eren developing an attraction and instantly going “let’s fuck”, it takes half a dozen chapters for the realization to even sink in, another chapter or so of confusion and denial, and even then, it wasn’t off to bed right away. This fic kind of blew me away because it’s one of the few that takes place in the canon-verse that really focuses on character development and inner dialogue while following the canon timeline. I drew this with the most recent chapter of BlakeBroflovski’s fic It’s Funny Because Eren Can’t Read in mind.
